Kaitlin M. Baudier, Ph.D. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I received my B.S. in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2008 and my PhD in Biological Sciences at Drexel University in 2017, advised by Sean O'Donnell. From 2017 to 2020 I did postdoctoral research in group defense and thermal ecology in the labs of Jennifer Fewell, Ted Pavlic, and Stephen Pratt, as part of the Social Insect Research Group at Arizona State University. In January of 2021 I began my current position as an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi. |

I'd also like to recognize the many amazing high school, undergraduate, postbaccalaureate, and graduate students who have played an integral role in various research projects over the years prior to the formation of our lab at USM. Many have gone on to pursue careers in academia, education, biology, medicine, ecology and conservation. All are greatly appreciated.
